My name is Barbara Ann Malka, and I am a Southern California native who is proud of my Mid-Western and Southern roots. I love investing in kids, enjoying all kinds of animals, acting, storytelling, classic literature and films, country and classical music, and Disney days with family and friends. Raising and home-schooling my three children was definitely a highlight of my life.
My love of acting and voicing began in high school and was developed over many years of performing, storytelling, directing children’s plays, and reading hundreds of books aloud to my family. My voice has been described as having the ability to draw listeners in and hold them captive in the moment. It is especially gratifying for me to bring words on a page to life in the imaginations of listeners.
